RotoSET treatment plants are intended for properties with no access to a sewer network.
The use of RBC rotating biological contactor technology delivers high treatment efficiency together with ease of use unmatched by other solutions and very low running costs.
The technology has been known and valued worldwide for over 70 years, and thanks to modern materials we can offer it in dozens of available sizes and applications, up to 800 people in a single tank
RotoSET plants are characterised by a simple design and the absence of systems that mechanically blow air into the tank, which minimises the risk of unpleasant odours escaping from it.
The shaft is driven by a low-speed, quiet and energy-efficient geared motor with a long service life.
Because inflows are uneven in many properties, the units use the FlowSET flow balancing system. It uses the movement of the shaft and, through the overflow vessels fitted to it, doses a constant volume of wastewater into the media zone, guaranteeing the same treatment time by aerobic bacteria.
All RotoSET units are made of GRP – glass-fibre reinforced polyester resin – a material known from the aviation, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Thanks to its high ring stiffness, tightness and resistance to aggressive environments, it is ideal for a treatment plant tank
